The city of Korvosa. Largest in Varisia, greatest of the Chelaxian colonies. Her past rulers have never sat easily upon the Crimson Throne. But now a spark of change burns through our city. For good, or for ill? Let us see what is written in the cards…
My name is Zellara Zindane. I am a Harrow reader from West Dock. I am also dead. This is not my story, nor even the story of the heroes who would rise to defend our city in the days to come.
Rather, it is the story of Korvosa.
An Adventure Path set in a sprawling urban city, filled with lies, politics, the quest for power, revenge, and a band of heroes facing the many dangers that threaten to topple Korvosa.

For some art of our characters, by our players:

Kudos to the artists, great stuff. And it’s pretty funny to see these after listening to 27 episodes already. Lucy is not far off from what I imagined, although in my head she had much more angular features, and I have completly missed the eye colour, if it has come up. Silvyr, however, has all this time been a sort of gender-bent Joan Jett in my mind, (Hello, daddy! Hello, mum! I’m your a-a-a-a-a Acid Splash!) so a slight reality adjustment (total metrosexual makeover) is in order 😉
I’ve decided to listen to this series first (outside of Dead Light). It was a rough call, since I love Kingmaker so very much, but I already experienced most of the Strand sessions before they moved off site. I have the original Curse adventure path and the omnibus they released about 2 years ago, but it counts as one I haven’t flipped through, so I can experience it fresh along with your group. Thanks for the audio!
Well, I’m sure this will provide a good experience of Curse of the Crimson Throne as written. Because I would -never- make a handful of minor changes to an Adventure Path to begin with, only for it to spiral into something wildly different from the book by the end… heh…
“resist the urge to make a Peter Jackson comparison, and fails miserably.”
I could promise to (unnecessarily) take 3 times as long as any other Curse of the Crimson Throne actual play, if it helps…
