Is it just me, or does Balazaar sound like Cary Grant in the latter half of session 20? (All joking aside, I find Balazaar’s accent extremely entertaining.)

Fascinating plot line for poor Balazaar, I admire his efforts to resist whoever or whatever is appearing in his dreams.

Clearly PaulofCthulhu would play Cary Grant playing Balazaar, combat wizard. 😆

All joking aside Paul, I really do enjoy the accent and character you have created. Very memorable.

I don’t think it’s that Balazaar is REALLY resistant to Shar in particular – he just would basically be resistant to ANYONE who tried to tell him to do ANYTHING he saw no benefit in. It fits my profile of Balazaar becoming something of a sociopath. Hee hee. He never gets afraid he might be blind for the rest of his life because “I’ve had worse!” and wouldn’t do anything he didn’t get something out of in a clear sense. But he’d like to make it look EPIC. Lol.

“Fireball coming on line. That’s a DEAD kobold.”

I too am enjoying your performance, Paul.

You quote Grant so we can compare. Maybe this little exchange between you and Feylin.

Balazaar: “How does a girl like you get to be a girl like you? “

    Feylin: “Lucky, I guess.”

Bonus points if you can name the movie and actress.

    I’ll name that in one:

    North by North West

with Eva Marie Saint as Eve Kendall.

Very good! If you start doing requests we’ll have to request quotes from other Hitchcock movies or perhaps from other Cary Grant films.
