True story:

Bradford University Roleplaying Society used to be called the Bradford Fantasy Roleplay Society. At the beginning of one particular year on the recruiting desk, one of the young lady members caught two other girls passing by and shouted out “Come and join Bradford Fantasy Roleplay… We need more girls!” – at which point the two made a very hasty exit.

Shortly after that it was decided to change the name of the Society to BURPS.

Sometime after that I married the “recruiter”. 😀
