We have begun a new D&D 5e campaign here at the TGG. Our first installment sees a group of friends leave their hometown, Thistledown, bound for the Reapers’ Faire at Tarrigan’s Landing.
As you would expect, there is a bit of difficulty encountered along the way.
The Players
Scott – Frago Proudfoot, Halfling Ranger
Dan – Rhaeghar, Dragonborn Cleric
Dave – Baldor Forkbeard, Dwarf Fighter
Nathan – Aradin Palladium, Human Wizard
Drew – Sszzyr, Drow Rogue
I’m using Obsidian Portal to track the game, please check out the link below…

Thanks for the recording, Hal & Thistledunians. 🙂
It was nice to hear more of the story behind the Thistledown name, even though it’s been mentioned in passing before. 🙂

Â

Are you counting in binary, or did you just stockpile the first 9 episodes before you started releasing them? 😉

Maybe this will work…
Â
Hurray! Â So here it is. Â The PCs are on the barge (represented by the cardboard rectangles) and the bandits are waiting on the far bank.

Neat! 🙂 Is that one of those cardboard houses that you can buy from Games Workshop in the background?

Â
Yes, exactly. Â I’ve had it since the WFRP 1st edition days.

In some parts of America that would qualify it to be listed as an historic monument 😀

In this part of America, and at my advanced age,  I think I qualify as a historic monument. 😀

Thank you!

We are recording session 10 tonight, so there is more to come.  My Highmarch setting is snowballing as we go along.  Luckily, the Obsidian Portal site is helping me to stay organized. 😀

There’s even a handful of handy maps, session summaries, and a plethora of character portraits, including several that appear to have been, ahem, “borrowed” from Baldur’s Gate II. 😉

Yes…”borrowed”.  I’ll give them back when I’m done. Really, I will. 😉
