Rolemaster’s 30th anniversary

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the place for it but as there are a number of Rolemaster fans here I thought I’d keep you updated:

To celebrate Rolemaster’s 30th birthday we’re running a whole bunch of competitions.

This month we’re looking for your best story involving Spell Mastery. Whether your spell mastery has saved you just in the nick of time or had terrible, terrible consequences, or even really interesting applications for the spells, we want to hear about it. Even if you don’t win, it’s always fun to reminisce over past glories (or failings as the case may be).

You’ve got until the end of the month to submit your stories in the contest section of our forums (http://goo.gl/haq3i) or on our facebook pages.

May will see the beginning of the Character Law contest. We aren’t accepting submissions for this section just yet, but if you would like to read through the critera or take a look at when the other sections of the contest will begin and end, you can find it all on our website (http://goo.gl/E1xOu).

Excellent. It’s been ages since I’ve played Rolemaster, but the 30th birthday is a great excuse to get back in.

Great to hear you’re celebrating the 30th birthday. Rolemaster is a really fun system and the recordings on this site are very entertaining listening. The session where the players get to grips with the crit tables is a gem! 🙂
