So, through the yachting club, I’ve signed up for the Shades of Grey Vampire LARP which takes place in anchorage alaska. If anyone has anything they would wish to contribute about anything I’d be very happy. I’ve never played vampire before, and larping is pretty new to me too. Character creation, roleplay advice, anything: I’m all ears.
Practice ALOT of paper, scissors, stone!
More seriously, the Storyteller system is pretty much like tabletop roleplaying where you walk around alot. No hitting anyone with rubber swords I’m afraid (in fact no physical contact at all).
I recommend bringing a small water pistol. Could be a real nasty weapon in Anchorage.
speaking of which, why precisely do you have to go THAT far out of the way to LARP?
haha, its just SET in anchorage. We’re actually in North Carolina. But hell, vampires don’t feel temperature, so it won’t matter.
Yeah, the setting is supposed to be anchorage.
And I want a rubber sword! 😥
Yeah, vampires don’t feel temperature, but players sure as hell do.
But we ARE Vampires. Mwahahahahahaha!
Not really
my advice, dont play a nosferatu or gangrel unless you have some prosthetics 🙂
If you saw me, you”d say exactly the opposite. hahahaha.
