August 27th, 2013.
After a brief detour to Wales, the BAGs return to the Sundered Skies and the floating island of Plenty, where Our Heroes are preparing to set sail. The Great Race across the skies is off to a flying start, and more besides:
- Tasteful swearing is encouraged;
- Reptile mammaries are inspected;
- Tina’s mum makes an embarrassing discovery;
- The song priest rocks harder than a mortal man, with powers both magical & rad;
- Bladders and “Man overboard”, weaponization thereof;
- Sky piranhas murmurate;
- Elven captains show neither mercy nor pantaloons;
- A being wreathed in eldritch flame is summoned, killing dozens & scorching the mahogany;
- Brandied bribery brings blemished britches;
- Rules, laws & harbormasters are shamelessly brow-beaten;
- Morton Vastfell’s ample drawers are ransacked;
- The Captain has wood for sheep;
- The GM despairs over his lacklustre players;
- The players despoil their GM’s good name;
- Mary delivers peace and macaroons (flavors include fairy dust, dreams, and chocolate ganache).
Featuring:
Alec – Mattigan Smith, a dashing courier (and certainly not a Doctor).
Fin – Sour Milk, white cat Wildling ninja.
Max – Tordek the Unlikeable, Dwarven chef.
Steve – Jerath, a song-priest of Festival.
Tina – Eyrie, an incredibly shiny Drakin sorceress/princess, and the ship’s owner.
Wayne – Captain, the Glowborn captain of the good ship Rhodium.
Ross – the GM.
Intro: Take a Chance (C) Kevin MacLeod @ incompetech.com
Outro: Simple Music to Frighten Small Children By (C) Kevin MacLeod @ incompetech.com
Song-Priest Spell: God Hates Kittens 2013 (C) Daniel Bautista @ OPSound.org
Added silliness by P. Monkey.

This session was recorded on Ross’s iPad as the Handy H2 had a 3rd Party power supply related failure. Wayne has replaced the power connector and the problem is gone, so future sessions are once again recorded on the H2.
Thanks for doing Ross’s Job Pencil Monkey 🙂
Really rather enjoying this game (But don’t tell Ross it will only inflate his ego 😮 ).

Re: The song priest spell, it was tempting to use Summon the Rawk by Kevin MacLeod, but God Hates Kittens 2013 seemed to be a better tune, in the end (despite the silly name). 🙂
November 5, 2013 at 10:13 pm #642508Moved these from Out of the Bag to BAG as I am informed they are more appropriate here 😛

I’m not sure these are appropriate in any forum but they are mightily entertaining! Thanks all Baggers 🙂

Since Ross had some trouble with NPC names (usually elves, both in this episode and later on), it might bear mentioning that there’s tons of handy name generators scattered through-out the internets – for example Fantasy Name Generator dot com, where you can choose from a variety of categories. A click on ‘elf’ and ‘short’ (the recommended setting for most of the names) produces:
- Maenasce
- Ren’le
- Thran’meril
- Rafëen
- Dormithril
- Lia’gol
- Thalrethreth
- Las-thorn
- Tari-toror
- El-kur
- Danbelegrod
- Wehalme
- Wedrel
- Bornda
- Or’mal
- Findgolthasgaladh
- Rod-aran
- Drileariel
- Kraesiele
- Ta’iel
And a click on ‘Surnames’ and ‘Short’ netted the following:
- Landerblue
- Bitterlynx
- Bluequiver
- Mourndwarfbitter
- Mountainfurybird
- Dwarfblurbreaker
- Wargspring
- Bush
- Runnerfallhame
- Force-magenta
- Manesword
- Sand
- Warg
- Hellwolf
- Duskmane
- Lightblur
- Glidelips
- Bornfall
- Ramfury
- Bear
Granted, since the results are random, you’ll often end up with some silly tongue-twisters, but as it belches out a list of names each time, you’ll have plenty to choose from, and you can just click again for a new portion.
C’mon, who wouldn’t want to play Findgolthasgaladh Force-Magenta the elven hair stylist? Or get better acquainted with an elven doxy called Rod-aran Glidelips? 😉
November 7, 2013 at 5:18 pm #642511“Good day madam, my name is *cough* erm… Findgolthasgaladh Glidelips. I am here to examine your plumbing!”

“Ooh, that’s a mighty big Mountainfurybird you’ve got there. Why don’t you help me slip out of my Rafëen, and start to Thalrethreth my Bluequiver?”
