Sift isn’t necessarily a useless spell. When Thing complained about needing objects that weighed five pounds or less, so he could weaponize ’em with his telekinesis, I was reminded of the Call of Cthulhu recordings here on the site; especially one of the very first RPGMP3 episodes, The Haunting, where the investigators made sure to acquire a bag of ball bearings. π (Instant shrapnel – just add explosives!)
